Nest of Flitts Information For You!

This journal works like this:
- Almost everything in this journal is decided by the roll of a dice. Nest sizes are random. Nest sizes can be anywhere from 5 eggs to 25 eggs.
- Each post has a set number of eggs. If the nest has 13, only 13 muses will get a fire lizard. It is first come, first serve.
- The only time this is disabled is on memes. In memes, the nest has an unlimited number of eggs for every muse that tags.
- Memes are generally open for 48 hours. After that time we consider a meme post closed and will no longer respond. If you'd still like a fire lizard we have plenty up for adoption.
- When your muse gets an egg it will hatch with a random fire lizard in it. What is inside the egg is decided by a roll of the dice. There's no biased here.
- Your muse's fire lizard will come with a basic personality. What happens after your muse bonds with the fire lizard is up to you. They can be on Pern or they can be in the normal world and just happened to have found a nest of eggs.
- Nest of Flitts will never reply to any post your muse makes. Your muse must find a Nest of Flitts post to get an egg. This also means after your muse has Bonded with a flitt, you play it. The fire lizard is your character as soon as the Bond is made. Nest of Flitts will continue to reply to the main nest post but that is it.
- Your muse’s fire lizard is theirs for life. Whether you do a whole storyline with it or never play/post with it again, it’s yours.
- No muse will ever Bond with more than one fire lizard unless:
- It's a meme where the number is unlimited.
- They adopt a fire lizard from the adoption center.
- So you can find one nest, but if you try to get another the mother or father will chase you off.
- There are canon colors (More info on Colors Below) and non-canon. These are decided by percentages in Pern’s canon and random dice rolls.
- Don’t even try to request a color. We do things by dice and that’s it.
- If you want another fire lizard, you can purchase one. You'll need to talk to the Merchant though.

Canon:
White – Smallest, no gender.
Green – Second smallest, always female.
Blue – Third smallest, always male.
Brown – Third largest, always male.
Bronze – Second largest, always male.
Gold – Largest, always female.
Non-canon:
Red – Between a Green and a Blue, always male.
Black – Between a Green and a White, always female.
Copper – Between a Brown and a Blue, always male.
Silver – Between a Bronze and a Brown, always male.
Brass – Between a Gold and a Bronze, always female.
